ARE YOU LOOKING FOR GOD?
WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW HIM PERSONALLY?

If you have wondered if you could know God personally, but have felt that He is very far away, distant, and impersonal, here are five important facts you need to know. It is possible to live the Best Possible Life by knowing God personally.

Fact 1 – God loves us and wants us to know Him personally
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. "
John 17:3 "Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

Fact 2 – Our sinfulness has separated us from God
Isaiah 59:2 ". . . your sins have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face
from you, . . ."
Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

Fact 3 – If we remain separated from God, we face death and judgment
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, . . ."
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 "those who do not know God . . . will pay the penalty of everlasting destruction away from the presence of the Lord . . ."

Fact 4 – Jesus' death and resurrection made a personal relationship with God possible
John 14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Fact 5 – Each of us must personally trust Christ by faith if we want to know God and to experience the Best Life Possible! 
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast."

To personally trust Christ by faith, you need to:
1. Acknowledge your need - admit you have sinned and want to turn from that sin

2. Believe Jesus Christ died in your place and rose again to provide forgiveness for your sins

3. Choose to turn your life over to Christ and to let Him direct it
